I have been an artist for several years working on projects as varied as video games, toys and collectibles and AR/VR presentations. I look forward to being part of a team and helping in any area that I can, all working together to deliver the best experience possible.
As art director I worked alongside the lead programmer and producer to align the art style and requirement to their needs. With the artists I mentored junior artist and provide critique and guidance to all artists as well as established pipeline and workflow for our projects. i created documentation art art requirement and was largely the person in charge of implementing art into the game engine.
As lead artist I oversaw all art development and creation. Working with the producer and programmers to create assets that were easily implemented and functioned as desired.
On Oblivions' Edge I was the only artist and worked on all visual aspects of the game from assets to UI. I even did a little scripting and audio work.
On Penguin Problems I mainly worked on the character, animations, VFX and UI.
As artist working on the episodic game Knee Deep I did a little bit of everything. I learned Mixamo Fuse for character creation because the studio had already established that early on. I remade characters clothing for the 3 main characters outside of Mixamo but used it heavily to create the NPC and townsfolk.
I also worked on assets and scene construction for environments.
As a digital sculptor I got to work on toys and collectibles for various properties such as Marvel, DC, Lord of the Rings, Batman, Halo, Simpson, Heroclix, Pathfinder and more. Collectibles ranged in size from 10mm miniatures to 18" tall pose-able figures.
We created a digital online multiplayer version of the Heroclix board game. We also created a tablet game using Marvel and DC characters called Heroclix Tabapp. On that projects I was reponsible for characters and animations and VFX.
